Assam HS result 2026: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has confirmed that the Assam Higher Secondary (HS) or Class 12th results will be declared tomorrow, April 28, 2026. Approximately, over 3.3 lakh students had taken the exam. The confirmation comes after the Assam State School Education Board dismissed a widely circulated fake notice that had earlier suggested an April 24 release. The Assam HS examinations were conducted between February 13 and March 17, with practicals held earlier in the year. Alongside official result portals, students can access their digital scorecards through DigiLocker, the government-backed platform designed for secure document storage.In 2025, results were announced on April 30, while 2024 saw an early May release. The board has been steadily advancing the schedule to better align with undergraduate admission cycles across India.Last year’s overall pass percentage crossed 88 per cent, with Science stream students recording the highest success rate. This year’s performance trends will be closely monitored, particularly as competition for university seats intensifies.
