The registration window for the Bihar BEd Common Entrance Test (CET-BED) 2026 has formally opened with Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU). Candidates seeking entry into two-year B.Ed and Shiksha Shastri programmes across Bihar’s government and private colleges can now apply online. The process, which began on April 27, will continue without a late fee until May 18. A short extension window with penalty charges will remain open until May 21, followed by a correction facility on May 22 and 23. The CET-BED 2026 remains a crucial gateway for aspiring teachers in Bihar, with more than 35,000 seats available across nearly 14 participating universities.The entrance examination has been scheduled for June 7, with admit cards slated for release on June 1. Results are expected to be declared by June 19, indicating a tightly managed admission cycle aimed at minimising delays in academic sessions. Eligibility criteria remain unchanged. Applicants must secure at least 50% marks in graduation or post-graduation. However, candidates from engineering or technology backgrounds are required to have a minimum of 55%, aligning with national benchmarks set by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
