The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has declared the Class 12 results for 2026, with an overall pass percentage of 85.11%, with girls outperforming boys by a noticeable margin.Girls recorded a pass percentage of 88.09%, significantly higher than the 81.93% achieved by boys. This trend is not new. Over the past few years, female students in Uttarakhand have consistently outperformed their male counterparts. In 2025, girls achieved a pass percentage of 86.2% compared to 80.10% among boys, while in 2024, girls stood at 85.96% against 78.97% for boys. The continued gap suggests a stable pattern in performance outcomes across the state.At the district level, Bageshwar has emerged as the top performer in 2026. The district recorded an impressive 94.81% pass percentage in the Class 12 examinations. In terms of toppers, Geetika Pant from Bageshwar and Sushila Mendiratta from Udham Singh Nagar have jointly secured the top position in the Class 12 exams. Both students scored an outstanding 98%, placing them at the top of the merit list.This year, a total of 1,02,986 students had registered for the Intermediate examination.
