Director Abhishek Pathak of ‘Drishyam 3’ and actress Shivaleeka Oberoi, his wife, have joyfully welcomed their baby girl on Akshaya Tritiya, April 19. The pair, who met in 2020 while shooting ‘Khuda Haafiz’, produced by Abhishek and starring Shivaleeka, got married in Goa in February 2023.
On Sunday, the couple shared the announcement in a joint post, writing, “Our little Goddess Laxmi has arrived on an auspicious day. A blessing in its purest form.” In the adorable post, the new parents wrote, “In a moment, our hearts found a whole new meaning! With immense love and gratitude. we welcome our precious Baby Girl! Blessed parents Shivaleeka & Abhishek.”
Actress Ishita Dutta celebrated the newborn’s arrival with a comment: “Congratulations” plus three red heart emojis. Aahana Kumra chimed in, “Aww!! Congratulations @shivaleekaoberoi and @abhishekpathakk.” Many others flooded the comments, showering the new parents with congrats on this exciting chapter.
Abhishek and Shivaleeka revealed their pregnancy in December 2025 via a cute joint Instagram post. Shivaleeka, dressed in red and cradling tiny baby socks, posed with Abhishek, who wore a black shirt, hugging her before a Christmas tree. A second snap featured the duo holding a tree ornament that said “Baby Pathak Arriving 2026,” with their faces out of frame.
Earlier this year, in February 2026, Abhishek and Shivaleeka celebrated their third wedding anniversary, posting sweet photos from the special occasion.
Abhishek’s directorial credits include ‘Drishyam 2’ and ‘Ujda Chaman’, while his production slate features ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, ‘Khuda Haafiz’, and ‘Section 375’.
