As Tamil Nadu students wait for the TN Board Class 10 and 12 results, an old marksheet is going viral online, and it is of none other than Tamil Nadu’s CM-elect and TVK chief Vijay.While Vijay has been making headlines after his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) emerged as a major force in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, social media has now turned attention to his school days. An old Class 10 scorecard is being circulated as his “marksheet” and being reported by media, though its authenticity has not been officially verified.According to it, Vijay scoring a total of 711 out of 1100, which is around 64.6 per cent, and was placed in the First Class category. The marksheet suggests a mixed academic performance, with clear strengths in some subjects and weaker scores in others.Vijay scored highest in Science with 206 out of 300. He is also shown to have done reasonably well in Tamil (155/200) and English (133/200). In Social Science, he is listed at 122 out of 200. Mathematics, however, is shown as his lowest score, with 95 out of 200.Vijay later joined Loyola College in Chennai for Visual Communication but left the course to pursue acting full time.
