The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the scribe registration window for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026 today. Candidates who wish to submit details of their own scribe for the examination can complete the process through the official website at cuet.nta.nic.in.The CUET UG 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from May 11 to May 31 at various examination centres across the country.Candidates with disabilities who require the assistance of a scribe are advised to complete the registration process before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues. Once submitted, the scribe details will also be reflected in the candidate’s application form and confirmation page.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to register their scribe details:

  • Visit the official CUET website at cuet.nta.nic.in
  • On the homepage, go to the candidate activity section
  • Click on the “Register Scribe Details” link
  • Log in using the application number, password, and captcha code
  • Enter the required details related to the scribe
  • Carefully review the information and submit the form
  • Download and save the confirmation page for future reference

CUET UG 2026 exam pattern

The CUET UG 2026 question paper will contain objective-type multiple choice questions (MCQs) and will be divided into three sections — language test, domain subjects, and general test.The language section will evaluate reading comprehension and language proficiency skills. The domain-specific subjects will include questions based on the Class 12 National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) syllabus. Meanwhile, the general test section will cover topics such as general knowledge, current affairs, logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and numerical ability.As per the marking scheme, candidates will receive five marks for every correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. The examination will be conducted in multiple languages and in different shifts.
